FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- 1. Are these machines used? No! All of the ATMs we sell are brand new with a full manufacturer’s warranty.
- 2. Are there additional expenses not covered here? No. There are no additional statement fees, service charges, or transaction fees.
- 3. What are my customer’s expenses? They will need to pay one-time charges for the ATM or your monthly lease payment if you are reselling the machine. They may need to pay for installation of the ATM ($325.00) or you or can install it yourself with our support people assisting you on the phone. They will also need to provide a telephone line and a standard electrical outlet. One roll of receipt paper is provided with the machine and typically lasts 5-6 months. Additional rolls cost $12.00.
- 4. What are my expenses? They will need to pay one-time charges for the ATM or your monthly lease payment if you are reselling the machine. They may need to pay for installation of the ATM ($300.00) or you can install it yourself with our support people assisting you step by step on the phone. They will also need to provide either a telephone line, internet line, or wireless unit along with a standard electrical outlet. That’s it!
- 5. What happens when my machine doesn’t work? We have factory trained technicians in house. Just give us a call on our toll free number and we will help you solve most questions over the phone – FREE. If you or your customer is not the “do it yourself” type, we can arrange to have a service technician come out to your/your customer’s location.
- 6. What happens when a card user does not get enough/any money? This is extremely rare, but if it does happen, the card user should call their bank. Our toll free number is on the ATM surcharge sticker. NEVER give the card user money, you may not get it back.
- 7. Where does the “interchange” come from and how do I receive it? Interchange is paid to Bank Express by the banking industry and networks. We retain a portion of this and pass the remainder along to you monthly with a check sent US mail.
- 8. What other income is available? As a sales agent of Bank Express International you will receive “interchange” income on every surchargeable transaction that occurs on your machines or your customer’s machines.
- 9. When do I get my money back? The vault cash and surcharge are deposited into the account or accounts you request via the Federal Reserve within 24 hours. Funds from Tuesday will be available on Wednesday, Wednesday’s on Thursday, Friday’s, Saturday’s, and Sunday’s on Monday, and Monday’s on Tuesday.
- 10. Can the surcharge be split? Yes, the surcharge can be split and deposited to any bank account in the USA.
